The ALU Vent 45 is our vapor-permeable reflective insulation film. The film should be applied on the outside (cold side) and is suitable for both roofs and walls.

This insulation film not only offers excellent thermal performance but also helps regulate moisture management, thus preventing condensation problems. This ensures a healthy and comfortable indoor climate.

How does ALU Vent 45 work?

The inside of ALU Vent 45 is equipped with 100% aluminum, while the outside is covered with a spunbonded fabric. This is a waterproof yet vapor-permeable membrane that allows moisture, such as water vapor, to pass in and out. This property is essential to ensure that moisture inside can be discharged to the outside.

Traditional insulation materials absorb energy and release it again. If you want to increase the insulation value, the material needs to be made thicker to absorb more heat. A reflective insulation film works differently; ALU Vent 45 reflects radiant heat back to the desired location and does not absorb heat, making it effective in both winter and summer.
