About the project
The Nazareth monastery in Oirschot was provided with a new sound-insulating and fire-resistant floor, realized with Duofor® dovetailed sheeting. The dovetailed sheets are finished with sand cement.
Sound-insulating and fire-resistant
To make the floor sound-insulating, the wooden beams have been fitted with the DTS-G sound-insulating strips. Between the floor and the wall, the RS edge strips have been applied. These strips of mineral wool ensure that there is no direct contact between floor and wall. The edge strips make the connection fire resistant and also prevent the possible penetration of leaking water from the mortar.
