About the project
Walkway at the European Parliament in the European Quarter in Brussels.
The pedestrian bridge connects the D3, D4 and D5 buildings of the European Parliament. The circular walkway is 60 m in diameter on the outside and runs symmetrically in relation to Place du Luxembourg. It rests on 8 columns and weighs no less than 280 tonnes. In order not to make the bridge too heavy, a thin dovetailed sheet floor with Duofor® dovetailed sheets has been used.
